Accounting for Men

This Is How Accounting Careers Begin
Program Overview

From classroom to CPA eligibility in 16 months.

Designed for students who want a career-focused path into accounting, BTI’s men’s track delivers a comprehensive accounting and business curriculum through live, in-person instruction in Lakewood.

The curriculum covers the full range of accounting knowledge from principles and financial reporting to federal taxation, auditing, and business software. What students learn in this program is immediately applicable and relevant across every area of professional accounting.

The value of in person learning.

In a classroom setting, you can ask questions, get immediate answers, and build real relationships with teachers and classmates. That kind of interaction makes a difference in how well you learn and how prepared you feel.

A customized course plan. A dedicated advisor throughout.

At BTI, every student works with a dedicated advisor to build a course plan that works for them. Together, they review prior credits including Yeshiva credits, and build a customized course plan that accounts for what the student has already completed and what lies ahead. Advisors stay involved throughout the program, available to help with coursework questions, academic planning, or anything else a student may need.

Expert instructors. Devoted teachers.

BTI’s accounting instructors are experienced accounting professionals who bring real-world knowledge into every class. We are committed to recruiting teachers who are not only experts in their field but who are genuinely devoted to their students, ensuring every student gets the attention, clarity, and guidance they need to succeed.

A regionally accredited degree, and the eligibility to sit for the CPA exams.

The program is built around the 27 accounting and 24 business credits required to sit for the CPA exam in New Jersey. Students who need a bachelor’s degree can earn a BA in Business Administration from a regionally accredited college through BTI, completing their degree and CPA requirements together in one program. BA is self paced and may take longer than 16 months.
